::June Windfall Dolls Giveaway::Meet Jemma

::::

Each month leading up to our regular Seasonal Large Waldorf Doll giveaway as promised...we will be sewing up a few smaller dolls for giving away. This includes not only our Lillipals variety of dolls, but our Baby Dolls, our Swaddle babies,newborn babies, our Wee Ones, and any other small dolls that we come up with.

A bit of a tide-me-over for all of our readers.

Each monthly small doll's name will be inspired by the month in which they were created.

As our June giveaway babe, we have the adorable Jemma ...a Swaddle babe.

:::::::::::

Jemma:: A jewel or gem.

::the details::
 Jemma is entirely handmade by us using our swaddle baby pattern. She is a petite 10 inches tall.  She has  a  uber soft flannel swaddling blanket wrapping her body as well as a soft flowery touque.    We have knotted the hat at the top, but it is easily un-knotted.

Jemma was a first in a few ways.  She is a bit pudgier that our past swaddle babies.  I was just drawn to adding more and more fluff to make those yummy cheeks of hers full.  She is also the first swaddle baby that we have given eyes to.   We decided on simple slits, since newborns are almost always in a sleepy dreamy state.

It saddens us to mention this, but we just want to be clear.  Please do not comment if you are planning on selling this doll.  She is meant to go to a family who will appreciate her.  It would break our hearts if she was given to someone with poor intentions.
