::Fall Windfall Dolls Giveaway :: Meet Sienna

 Welcome to our fifth large Windfall Doll giveaway!

Four times a year we will be holding a seasonal giveaway of one of our larger Waldorf Inspired Dolls.  Each monthly doll's name will be inspired by the month in which they were created.

For our Autumn Windfall Doll giveaway, we would like to introduce you to Sienna.

::Sienna:: Meaning reddish orange in color.

::A bit about Sienna::
Sienna is our Fall girl.
Her hair is the color of the trees here in the Adirondacks...of pumpkins and warm fire flames.

She loves to go outside to walk by the river.

To sit on the rocks cushioned by moss and listen the the river waters run.

Once she has dipped her toes into the chilly water and talked with the beavers that keep their homes there... so tall and wooden, she heads back down the trail back home.

She stays warm all bundle up in her mama and Auntie made frocks.

:: The details::

Sienna is made using our Standard Waldorf Inspired Pattern... out of interlock, stuffing and wool.

Her long hair is made with gorgeous orange variegated thick thin wool yarn.

Her wardrobe is handmade as always.  Her pants and bonnet are made from an upcycled sweater and the heart patch on the side of her hat is a special little piece of fabric; as it was a gifted piece of fabric from one of past Windfall Winners; Thank you Miss Cinnamon.

Her dress is made using our regular dress pattern, but for a bit of added detail, I turned the seams outward to give a more vintage feel.

Her sweater vest is her favorite part,  so soft and warm.   Perfectly fitting over her little head and all of that orange hair.

Her orange eyes are a bit unconventional in that they are orange... but I adore them because her sister Emelia designed them.  her lips are pursed and pretty pink.

If you are interested in having Sienna join your family, please let us know what it is that you love about her and how you will make her a part of your family.
Also, please become a follower of this blog and leave a comment at the end of this post, and if you are so inclined, like our shop on Etsy or our Facebook Page
The giveaway will be open for one week.  We will randomly choose a winner on October 8th and we will contact the winner via email.

Be sure to leave your email address in your comment so that we can contact you!

For an extra chance to win:

~Write about Windfall Dolls on your Blog (feel free to use a picture of Sienna) and leave another comment letting us know that you did so.

Each comment counts as one entry

It saddens us to mention this, but we just want to be clear.  Please do not comment if you are planning on selling this doll.  She is meant to go to a family who will appreciate her.  It would break our hearts if she was given to someone with poor intentions.

  56. My sweet little autumn child would so love her! He does not have a doll of his own yet. She would sleep in his bed and romp through the leaves with him on our daily nature walks. We would make her a crown of tiny yellow leaves and knit her a little scarf to keep off the wind chill. Upon returning home, she would join us for some tea and tiny homemade cookies and stories in the candlelight. Thank you for the giveaway, she is beautiful!

  57. We have a new baby coming to our house sometime in the next couple of weeks. She would be a great comfort to our baby's big brother and sister--especially since she loves walking by the river. We love to walk by the river too--we don't have much in the way of moss, but there's lots of rocks. I love her orange eyes and lovely hair. Fall is a favorite time of year and he lovely hair and dress make me just want to snuggle on her. She's a beautiful girl.

  58. Our little girl has blonde hair with a reddish tint - this would be a lovely doll for her!

  59. Sienna is lovely and she looks a bit like my daughter, Johanna, who turns two this month and who has asked for a doll of her very own (she plays with her older sister's dolls). Her autumnal hair is like my daughter's own auburn locks! As a part of our family Sienna would continue walks along the river to the Pacific Ocean (and her knit vest and hat will keep her adequately warm in our climate), she will listen to many stories, read many books, dance to Johanna's daddy's guitar and fiddle, help us carve pumpkins and knit scarves, make bread and stew in our real kitchen and in our wooden one, paint and draw, and most importantly, time for what my girls call "cuddles and loves"! We hope Sienna will join us!

  60. I would love this doll for my daughter because she is so outdoorsy and this is our favorite time of year. I have been wanting to get her a Waldorf style doll, and this Sienna, would be perfect. Her coloring, her clothing, everything about her matches my daughter's personality-warm! She would love this baby, and I could see Sienna spending many days outside, sliding down slides, swinging, going on hikes, fishing, etc. Thanks for the chance to bring Sienna home. ;)

She would join our 3 wonderful boys for readings, cuddles, and songs as we go about our days in the home. Sienna doll would be a source of comfort and inspiration for sure. Thanks for the opportunity :o)!

  75. My seven-year-old daughter, Bella, would love the autumn sweetness and warmth of the most beautiful doll to take into the winter. She lost a dear beloved 6-year-old friend who had the same beautiful red hair named, Natalie. She would treasure such a gift as a reminder of Natalie. Please send some love to her dear mother, Jennifer. We love them dearly.

  76. Sienna does look like the beauty of fall. Two of my children and two of my granddaughters have orange hair. When my children were young, people often asked them where they got their “red” hair, their reply was always “My hair is orange, and that’s the color God made it, it’s a special color.” Sienna would be loved at our home and fit right in with her beautiful orange hair.

  77. I've always been a sucker for a ginger, and my little girl who is turning one in November, has a tinge of red in her hair, unlike her tow-headed brothers. She's a breath of fresh air after 7 years of crazy boys, and has already started chasing after sweet, sparkly, shiny, ruffly things, which blows my mind! Sienna would make her day.

  78. I love the little details of blue in her smock that are accented by the blue of the rest of the outfit; and the way the blue and orange contrast and compliment so well. My 2 year old daughter has been patiently waiting for a special someone to love and care for and we are ready to give lots of love. I also love that she will find a new home on October 8, which is my birthday....it's like we are birthday buddies....:D

  82. our front room is autumn. if you ask the kids what mama's favorite color is, they will tell you: mama's favorite color is autumn. my daughter will name her own daughter Autumn. she's only 5, but how do i know this, because she tells me: "my daughter will have hair the color of autumn like me." her hair IS the color of autumn. reddish orange. one darker streak. many blond streaks. like leaves. and her eyes, are also the color of autumn. starting slightly green, going brownish, reddish...with...yes, orange...surrounding the middle of the iris...just like her daddy, who spends his free time with her on mountain trails. just like Sienna. :)
