We are happy to have you here.

Each month leading up to our regular Seasonal Large Waldorf Doll giveaway as promised...we will be sewing up a few smaller dolls for giving away. This includes not only our Lillipals variety of dolls, but our Baby Dolls, our Swaddle babies, newborn babies, our Wee Ones, and any other small dolls that we come up with.
A bit of a tide-me-over for all of our readers.
Each monthly small doll's name will be inspired by the month in which they were created.
::::
As our Special Sew Mama Sew giveaway babe, we have the adorable Margot ...a Lillipal girl.
:::::::::::
::Margot :: French meaning pearl
Margot is our wild child. She is bright and boisterous and colorful. She lets her needs be known and she is in constant search for entertainment.
Her hair exemplifies her wild streak and is all over the place, quite literally.
It was long and flowing when I first stitched it into place, but she got a hold of some scissors out of my sewing room where she was sleeping and decided that it needed a trim.
Or a CHOP... as it were.
Little Miss Emelia (our resident fashionista) had a talk with me and begged asked me if she could help Margot get her hair in a bit more order for her photoshoot before she found her new family. After her own day of spa treatment, she was keen to share the experience with her little friend Margot.
A bit relieved, I told her that...of course she could. The next day I helped Emelia make her a rosette hair band and watched as she tied it snuggly around Margot's head. Margot was easily distracted with some little baby bunnies to play with.
She even took the shears and made a perfect little bob out of the chop job that Margot had given herself.
Her wardrobe is entirely handmade by us (and Emelia).
Her pants are made from an upcycled toddler's shirt sleeves and the sleeve hem details are left at the ankles.
Her dress is detailed with a pretty little birdie patch.
If you are interested in having Margot join your family, please become a follower of this blog, or like our shop on Etsy. Leave a comment at the end of this post. The giveaway will be open for one week. We will randomly choose a winner at night on May 28th and we will contact the winner via email.
Be sure to leave your email in your comment so that we can contact you!
For an extra chance to win:
~Write about Windfall Dolls on your Blog (feel free to use a picture of Margot) and leave another comment letting us know that you did so.
Each comment counts as one entry

It saddens us to mention this, but we just want to be clear. Please do not comment if you are planning on selling this doll. She is meant to go to a family who will appreciate her. It would break our hearts if she was given to someone with poor intentions.

And while they aren't around Grandma can keep her company. :) She can supervise me in my sewing room.
